Low-code test automation platform Testsigma raised $8.2 M from MassMutual Ventures

Together with current investors Accel, STRIVE, and BoldCap, MassMutual Ventures led the $8.2 million funding round for the AI-based low-code test automation platform Testsigma.

Testsigma had previously raised $4.6 million in 2022 under the direction of Accel, with assistance from STRIVE and BoldCap.

Rukmangada Kandyala, Pratheep Velicherla, Vikram Chaitanya, and Rajesh Reddy founded Testsigma in 2019 as a low-code test automation platform driven by Gen AI that enables quality engineering teams to automate tests quickly and efficiently without the need for coding knowledge.

The platform’s NLP (Natural Language Programming) engine, which speaks plain English, enables users to quickly create, plan, and execute automated tests for web, mobile, and API applications.

Sage, HPE, Netgear, HDFC Life, IEEE, SignEasy, Mehiläinen, and the American Psychological Association are among its clients.
