Malaysian company Rodeo raised US $270K in funding
The money was raised from 85 investors, including Fidelity Funding, VJ Anand (ex-SVP Gojek), Nitesh Malani (chairman Yayasan Usahawan Malaysia), Simpson Wong (MD – XES), Akash Gupta (CEO – Zypp India), Shoant Tan (CEO – TanTanNews and Dipankar Mitra (CEO of Simbiotik Tech).
The money was raised via the equity crowdfunding platform pitchIN.
: “With the funds, we are able to put efforts towards building and extending more revenue streams rather than sticking to just profit from the usual few media that we use. One of our key strategies that have been put in place will be reaching out to more customers via our Rodeo Home Elevators,” said CEO Valens Subramaniam.
Rodeo is an ed-tech firm that specialises in digitalization and transit media. It provides a platform for advertising utilising a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, motorbikes, and even bicycles. Advertisers may reach out to their target clientele with relevant, interactive, engaging, and contextual ads. It also gives data and analytics for each campaign, allowing marketers to track the success of their campaigns.
