Men’s sexual health brand Bold Care raised $5 M funding

The Dhanani family, AVT Group, CaratLane co-founders Mithun and Siddhartha Sacheti, Nithin Kamath’s Rainmatter, Gruhas Collective Consumer Fund, and NB Ventures have all contributed to the $5 million fundraising round for men’s sexual health and wellness company Bold Care.

According to a press release from Bold Care, the money raised will be utilized to expand the brand’s online presence, improve research and development (R&D), and create sexual health products for both men and women.

Bold Care, which was co-founded in 2020 by actor Ranveer Singh, Rahul Krishnan, Harsh Singh, Mohit Yadav, and Rajat Jadhav, offers remedies for conditions like erectile dysfunction (ED) and premature ejaculation (PE). In addition, it sells lubricants and condoms, and it says it has already fulfilled over 30 lakh orders.

With the launch of Bloom, Bold Care has recently entered the women’s wellness market and is providing solutions for women’s health issues, such as pregnancy, menopause, menstrual care, sexual health, and personal hygiene.

Currently, the Mumbai-based startup sells its goods on e-commerce sites like Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, and Meesho in addition to its own website. Additionally, quick commerce platforms offer it.

In India, 90–95 million men suffer from sexual health problems, according to market research.

Bold Care’s operating revenue climbed from Rs 30.90 crore in FY23 to Rs 32.9 crore in FY24, the fiscal year that ended in March 2024. In the previous fiscal year, the company’s losses increased by 21.46% to Rs 19.3 crore.

Among the D2C sexual and wellness brands that Bold Care faces competition from are Man Matters, Kindly, Sukham, Kapiva, and Sassiest.
