Mental health startup ThoughtFull raised Temasek led $4 M Pre-series A funding
Singapore-based ThoughtFull, a provider of mental health services, has secured US $4 million in a pre-series A financing headed by Temasek subsidiary Sheares Healthcare Group.
Members of the founding teams of businesses like Grab and Zalora were also investors.
For video conversations and text-based counseling, ThoughtFull’s digital platform ThoughtFullChat links customers with licensed mental health specialists. People can control their mental health by using self-care options.
The company also offers ThoughtFullChat Pro, a provider-facing tool that aids mental health practitioners in growing their online practices.
For its corporate clients, the firm has also teamed up with insurers like AIA Malaysia and FWD to provide end-to-end mental health care. Recently, AIA also disclosed a collaboration with WhiteCoat to introduce Think Well, a platform for mental wellness.
ThoughtFull asserts that since its introduction in 2019, its income has increased 30 times, and its user base currently spans 95 countries. The fresh funds will be used by the business to increase team size, diversify into new Asian markets, and increase product offerings.
IHH Healthcare, which has a network of 82 facilities spread across 10 countries, made a strategic investment in Intellect, another Singaporean mental health firm, last week.
