MEST Training Program now accepting applications for class of 2024
The MEST Training Programme, a 12-month program physically located in Accra and intended to provide young people around the continent with commercial skills in technology and business, is now accepting applications for the 2024 cohort.
MEST is a pan-African software and entrepreneurship training program, seed fund, and incubator that was established in Ghana in 2008 by the Meltwater Foundation and aids in the establishment of technology firms all across the continent.
Over 800 young African tech entrepreneurs have received training through its Training Program, which has also sponsored and provided seed funding for over 80 firms and helped its graduates get thousands of jobs throughout the continent. MeQasa, CodeLn, Complete Farmer, and Kudobuzz are examples of alumni.
The fully financed program offers training in business, marketing, communication, and soft skills in addition to software instruction for potential entrepreneurs. Additionally, it offers initial capital of up to $100,000.
Until February 26, 2023, applications are accepted.
