Metaforms raises $9 M Series A funding from Peak XV, Nexus, others

Metaforms, an AI firm based in Bengaluru, has raised $9 million in a Series A financing round led by Peak XV Partners. Nexus Venture Partners and Together Fund also participated.
Its engineering and AI research staff in Bengaluru will be tripled, report production and voice-based research will be expanded, and research tools like Decipher, SPSS, and Confirmit will be further integrated with the money raised.
Established in 2022 by Akshat Tyagi and Arjun S, Metaforms creates AI agents that help market research firms scale and improve response times by automating procedures.
Its AI bots automate vendor cooperation, data processing, and survey programming.
“When research agencies grow, better business decisions get made,” said Akshat Tyagi, co-founder and CEO of Metaforms. “We’re not here to replace the humans in the loop. We’re here to give them leverage.”
The company claims to have onboarded four of the top 20 international research companies, including Strat7, since going commercial. It presently processes more than 1,000 surveys every month. In the long run, it wants to process more than 100,000 surveys a year.
