Metamorphosis Edu acquired by BrightCHAMPS in cash and stock deal

The ISB-incubated Metamorphosis was purchased by edtech company BrightCHAMPS for cash and stock. In the previous 15 months, BrightCHAMPS has made three acquisitions.

After the deal, BrightCHAMPS’ B2B vertical will be led by Metamorphosis founder Pavan Allena under CFO Amit Kumar. It will make it possible for schools to comply with NEP in all four of the company’s next-generation life-skills programs.

According to BrightCHAMPS, as part of their partnerships, schools will be equipped with the company’s Next-Gen labs, and teachers will receive curriculum training from business experts after being approved by a separate self-regulatory board.

Metamorphosis Edu, based in Hyderabad, currently employs over 20 people in addition to 40 to 50 teachers who act as consultants.

BrightCHAMPS is a global edtech company founded in 2020 by Ravi Bhushan that offers STEM-accredited and cutting-edge life skills learning in coding, financial literacy, robotics, and communications to students aged 6 to 16.

The business aims to close the achievement gap between schooling and children’s actual learning requirements. By utilizing Invisible Learning to foster each child’s inner potential, it seeks to empower students to be technologically, financially, and socially intelligent.

BrightCHAMPS acquired the Singapore-based communication and English-learning platform Schola in August 2022, and in February of last year, it acquired the Education10x platform for teaching financial literacy to children.
