MR publishing platform Flam raised Rs 38 Cr Pre-series A funding

The pre-Series A round of the AI-enabled mixed reality (MR) publishing platform Flam has raised Rs 38 crore ($4.5 million) from angel investors, Turbostart, Twin Ventures, Alphatron Capital, and several family offices.

Previous investors included SVQ, SF-based Inventus Capital Partners, and 9Unicorns (now 100 Unicorns).

According to a press release from Flam, the money will be utilized to extend the reach of its MR platform into North America, Europe, and the MENA region.

Flam was founded by Shourya Agarwal with the goal of changing the marketing industry. Flam is at the forefront of publishing interactive MR content that can be accessed via mobile cameras. Many international brands have already been hosted on the platform, such as Indian politician Shashi Tharoor, Britannia, Netflix, Wargaming, AJIO, Heeramandi, and WPP.

Through the use of MR technology, Flam creates captivating consumer experiences for print, OOH, TV, and digital ads. Its platform is compatible with all Android and iOS mobile devices, making it possible to quickly create and distribute mixed reality content.

Driven by advanced artificial intelligence algorithms, the platform offers the fastest image recognition as well as superior image and ground tracking.
