Multimodal connectivity platform Tummoc secured $1 M Pre-series A funding from IPV
Tummoc, a platform for multimodal connectivity, has raised $1 million in a pre-Series A round that was spearheaded by Inflection Point Ventures.
According to a press release from Tummoc, the company intends to use the funds for personnel recruitment and training, software and technology development, system expansion, marketing initiatives, and administrative needs.
In 2020, Hiranmay Mallick, Monalisha Thakur, and Narayan Mishra co-founded Tummoc, a comprehensive transit technology platform that provides State Transport Authorities (STAs) with multi-modal connectivity solutions. With features like intracity journey planning, online bus and metro ticket booking, and convenient first-to-last mile connectivity, all in one single app, it allows users to have a seamless travel experience through a single transaction.
According to Tummoc, its advantages include facilitating information discovery, providing a unified ticketing system, easy first- and last-mile connectivity, having a patented solution, and being the first product on the market. As a finalist for the 2020 National Startup Award, Tummoc was acknowledged.
Within the next two years, the Bengaluru-based startup wants to snag 25% of consumer attention.
Recently, IPV made a purchase of the SaaS platform Shipturtle. It supported the B2B Supply Chain as a Service (SCaaS) platform Aksum, the provider of AI solutions Cognecto, and the e-commerce platform Direct2U in April.
