Multiple investors invested in Indonesian venture builder Ecoxyztem
Roni Pramaditia, chairman of the Medco Foundation, Konservasi Hutan Indonesia, and Pegasus Tech Ventures have all invested unknown funds in Ecoxyztem, an Indonesia-based venture builder.
Ecoxyztem, a startup accelerator founded just last year, gives startup entrepreneurs access to expertise, funding, business models, and marketing initiatives to help them address environmental issues.
The company was at first a member of Greeneration Group, a 2005-founded charity with an emphasis on the environment. M. Bijaksana Junerosano, Jonathan Davy, Andreas Pandu Wirawan, and Dicky Ahmad, together with former Gojek engineer Julio Anthony Leonard, co-founded Ecoxyztem, which the group later split out into a different company.
Ecoxyztem now has four startup companies in its portfolio: Waste4Change, a company that manages trash, ReservoAir, a supplier of flood mitigation services, Ravelware, and Enertec, a company that improves energy efficiency. The startup developer intends to utilize the new cash as working capital to create at least four firms annually.
