Mumbai Angels led Rs 3.5 Cr Seed funding raised by dronetech startup insideFPV
InsideFPV, a startup that makes drones, has raised Rs 3.5 crore in a seed funding round that was headed by Mumbai Angels and included IPV, Soonicorn, Fossbytes, and Kumar Sahu.
According to a press release from inside FPV, the company intends to use the funds to fuel growth, product development, market expansion, distribution, logistics, data analytics, software integration, acquisition, and strategic investment.
Inside FPV, a company co-founded in 2021 by Arth Chowdhary, Devyant Bhardwaj, and Oshi Kumari, offers drones that enable its customers to conduct surveillance, develop STEM education, and record first-person view videos that were previously out of their reach. The business spans a number of industries, including agriculture, commercial sectors, government contracts & defense, and surveillance.
The startup that was featured on Shark Tank claims to have served more than 1,000 customers, delivered more than 2,000 orders, and registered more than 15,000 additional customers to purchase drones. It also asserts to have served more than three regiments and to have more than ten drone arenas set up.
With over 230 portfolios covering a variety of industries, including technology, consumer goods, defense technology, electric vehicles, agri-tech, and others, Mumbai Angels has an AUM of $130 million.
