Nairobi to host fifth India-Africa Entrepreneurship and Investment Summit this month

On July 17–18, Nairobi, Kenya, will host the fifth India-Africa Entrepreneurship and Investment Summit.

The summit is a premier platform for advancing business partnerships, knowledge exchange, and investment opportunities between Africa’s US $3.5 trillion frontier markets and India’s US$4 trillion economy. It is being hosted by the India Africa Business Network (IABN) in partnership with the Kenya Investment Authority, India Kenya Business Council, TiE Africa, and other ecosystem partners.

Ravi Venkatesan, founder of the Global Alliance for Mass Entrepreneurship and chair of the Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet, will give the keynote address to kick off the fifth edition of the event.

Prominent business executives, legislators, and impact investors are joining him, including John Mwendwa, CEO of the Kenya Investment Authority; H.E. Ambassador Philip Thigo, Kenya’s Special Envoy on Technology; and Raman Roy, chairman and managing director of Quatrro.

“The presence of these eminent leaders signals a deepening commitment to the India–Africa growth corridor,” said Baljinder Sharma, convenor at IABN. “This year’s summit aims to inspire actionable collaboration and build sustainable bridges between two of the world’s most dynamic entrepreneurial regions.”
