Natural skincare startup Phases raised Rs 30 Lakhs through Indian Angels OTT Show
Phases, a natural skincare startup that sells skincare products that are safe and effective, particularly for teenagers, has raised Rs 30 lakh in an angel round led by Aparna Thyagarajan, with 20% of the equity being diluted.
Phases recently closed this equity funding deal through their involvement in Indian Angels, an angel investment program that is presently available for streaming on JioCinema, an over-the-top platform. Before this, Phases was mainly funded by its co-founders through bootstrapping.
The money raised will be utilized to accelerate several key initiatives, including growth and expansion, marketing, customer experience optimization, product development, and brand visibility enhancement.
Phases is a new-generation natural skincare company founded by Sannjana Raghu Amberkar to give tweens and teens safe, effective skincare products.
Phases asserts that the ingredients in its skincare products are plant-based, scientifically proven, free of synthetic fragrances, and harmful chemicals, and are also vegan, cruelty-free, and environmentally friendly.
The startup uses its own website, along with a few e-commerce platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, and Suspire, for product marketing and sales.
The brand’s best-selling and most well-liked items right now are the gel cleanser Splash and the hydrating, balancing moisturizer Poise.
