NBFC licence received by agritech Unnati subsidiary Ora Finance
Unnati, an agritech company driven by FinTech, declared today that its subsidiary Ora Finance had become the first company to be granted an NBFC license in the agritech industry.
By making the change, the business will be able to meet the financial needs of those who work in the agricultural industry, including farmers, retailers, traders, brands, and food processors.
More than 100,000 registered retailers and traders are part of Unnati’s network, and they use the uStore app to interact with farmers and run their day-to-day agribusinesses. Through its apps, these partners can connect with more than 1.3 million farmers.
The business asserts that over the years, it has facilitated all facets of product procurement, crop production, cultivation, and sales, assisting farmers in raising yield and profits.
One of the partners with whom Ora will collaborate is the Unnati network. The network of Unnati will be able to access a variety of credit products that are straightforward, reasonably priced, and simple to use, the company claims.
