Nexedge Capital raises $20 M in its first wealth management funding round

Co-led by Elev8 Venture Partners and Mirae Asset Venture Investment, Nexedge Capital, an Indian wealth management and multi-family office company, has raised $20 million in its initial funding round.
Nexedge Capital said in a statement on Wednesday that it will use the funds to expand its network of senior bankers, improve its technological platform, and reach smaller Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities in India.
Anirudha Taparia, a former co-founder and joint CEO of 360 ONE Wealth, formerly IIFL Wealth, created Nexedge Capital in February 2025. Rich people, families, and businesses are served by the firm. In just 18 months, it grew to over $3 billion in assets under management (AUM) among more than 1,300 clients and more than 95 senior bankers. The company was valued in the most recent round.
The foundation of Nexedge Capital’s business strategy was employee ownership, with over 150 senior employees contributing their own funds.
By managing a family’s whole balance sheet rather than just its invertible surplus, Nexedge Capital hopes to become the first “net-worth management” company in India. It aims to combine estate planning, investments, portfolio management, business growth, and assistance with moving overseas.
Nexedge’s creator and CEO, Anirudha Taparia, stated that the funding helps him achieve his goal of creating a company that can handle a family’s entire wealth. The company’s ownership model, in which senior executives contribute their own funds, demonstrated long-term commitment, according to Puneet Kumar, CEO of Mirae Asset Venture Investment.
The venture capital division of the South Korean financial conglomerate Mirae Asset Global Investments, which oversees assets worth over $1 trillion in 19 nations, is called Mirae Asset Venture Investment.
With investments in fintech, consumer, software, mobile, and business technology, Elev8 Venture Partners is a growth-stage venture fund that focuses on Indian technology startups.
