Nigerian insurtech startup Haba raised $75K Pre-seed funding

In order to develop its capabilities and change the insurance market in the West African nation, Nigerian insurtech startup Haba has raised $75,000 in a pre-seed funding round.

Constance Oshafi, Stephen Onwe, and Paul Showemimo co-founded Haba in 2022. Since then, Haba has expanded its service offerings to meet the wide range of needs of both individuals and companies.

The US $75,000 pre-seed funding round will be used by Haba to improve its service capabilities, bolster its technical team, and amplify its marketing initiatives to reach a larger pool of individual customers.

“With its resolute focus on customer satisfaction, innovative solutions for claims and repairs, and visionary investors, Haba InsurTech is positioned to redefine insurance accessibility, empower policyholders, and shape the future of the insurance sector in Nigeria. As the insurance landscape evolves, Haba InsurTech stands as a beacon of innovation, ready to make insurance easier, more reliable, and ultimately more customer-centric,” the startup said.
