Nigeria’s Regxta won $10K Pitch2Win startup competition
Regxta, a Nigerian fintech company, has been declared the winner of the fourth Pitch2Win startup competition. The team will receive US $10,000 in equity-free funding in addition to a trip to IVS2024 Kyoto, Japan’s largest startup conference, at no cost to them.
On June 12, Techcircle, in partnership with Freakout, SGverse, and SGgrow, hosted the fourth edition of Pitch2Win, an event wherein fifteen bright startups presented their ideas to a distinguished panel of judges and investors.
Regxta emerged victorious. The startup, which was founded in 2021 by Rukayat Bello, Afis Bello, and Moses Obika, has created an inclusive digital platform that provides unbanked people and microbusiness owners in rural and periurban communities throughout Africa with quick and simple access to financial services.
The pregnancy support service Preggify was named the “Sponsors’ Choice” winner and received a complimentary trip to IVS2024 in Kyoto.
