NODWIN Gaming received Rs 64 Cr from parent Nazara Technologies
The parent company Nazara Technologies has approved a funding round of Rs 64 crore ($ million) for the gaming and esports company Nodwin Gaming.
With an emphasis on improving its capabilities, expanding its portfolio of intellectual properties (IPs), and fortifying its position in emerging markets, the proceeds will be used to support NODWIN Gaming’s continued growth momentum.
The Gurugram-based business was worth $410 million as of November of this year prior to this investment.
NODWIN Gaming, a gaming and sports media platform based in India and international markets like Africa and North America, is a division of the publicly traded company Nazara Technologies. It provides e-sports, interactive gaming, and gamified early learning environments.
The German esports and gaming marketing firm Freaks 4U Gaming, the events company Comic Con, the Turkish esports and gaming company Ninja Global, the Singapore-based live events company Branded, and the marketing agency Publishme with a focus on West Asia and Turkey are just a few of the strategic acquisitions that NODWIN Gaming has made to broaden its portfolio.
Trinity Gaming was also purchased by the Nazara subsidiary last week for Rs 24 crore.
