Ola CEO Bhavish Aggarwal uploaded a video about the event ahead of time, even though bookings for the e-scooter had already begun for a refundable token sum of Rs 499.
Customers will receive their Ola e-scooter right at their front door.
According to the business, over one lakh bookings were received across the country on the first day of the booking period.
The firm stated that the pricing will be competitive and will be revealed tomorrow.
The e-scooter offers a number of first-in-class characteristics, including class-leading acceleration, the largest boot space in the class, greater range, and a number of other first-in-class features.
The Ola Futurefactory in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu, is producing e-scooters for the rest of the globe.
The plant, which covers 500 acres and has ten manufacturing lines, has the ability to produce approximately 10 million scooters each year. It will be the world’s largest factory for two-wheelers.
Over 3,000 AI-driven robots assist guarantee the product is created with surgical accuracy, and the facility employs advanced AI machines throughout all phases of manufacturing to improve operations.
The facility has the capacity to produce one e-scooter every two seconds on average.
Ola Hypercharger, the world’s largest and densest two-wheeler charging network, is also being built by the firm. It will implement an automated charging system that will eliminate the requirement for clients to pay by card or cash.
The standalone chargers will be placed around the country in important malls, IT parks, and popular sites to guarantee that consumers can locate a charger no matter where they travel.
