Oman Logistics Centre looking at startup ideas in the Logistics sector

Muscat: In an effort to support young businesses and promote the growth of successful startups in the logistics sector, Oman Logistics Center calls on the Omani youth to register their ideas in the logistics sector through the Ibhar business incubator.

Oman Logistics Center said, ‘Incubation areas comprise technology, manufacturing, innovation and services.’

The centre said that startup opportunities in logistics include services areas that industry needs such as postal waste management and container maintenance services and product areas that industry needs such as plastic pallets manufacturing and post office items, supply labels, envelops and information papers.

The incubator which has been launched by the Asyad Group, provides the startups with ideas with a comprehensive and integrated range of support. Ibhar incubator offers space, business support services, training and mentoring, marketing, clustering and networking opportunities for startups.

The unit aims to counsel, guide and support startups by providing them with focused support needed to grow their business and sustain the jobs created. It proposes to develop a supportive environment with strong industry linkage and with possibility to capitalise on available business opportunities within Asyad group in particular and the logistics sector in general
