Omidyar Network led $8 M Series A funding secured by cybersecurity firm Sequretek

Sequretek, a cybersecurity company, has raised $8 million in a Series A round led by Omidyar Network India, with Alteria Capital and Narottam Sekhsaria Family Office also participating.

Before this, the Mumbai-based business raised $7.2 million under the leadership of Gujarat Venture Finance, ICBA, and Unicorn India Ventures.

According to a press release from Sequretek, the new funding will be used to drive greater adoption of cybersecurity solutions for companies worldwide, scale its global operations and go-to-market strategy, and increase market share & profitability in the small and medium businesses segment.

Sequretek, which was co-founded in 2013 by Pankit Desai and Anand Naik, provides businesses with cyber breach protection via its AI-powered Percept Cloud Security Platform (CSP).

Sequretek claims that its product enables companies to safeguard their most important assets, identify and neutralize online threats instantly, and maintain regulatory compliance. Organizations can simplify security while taking charge of their cybersecurity posture and confidently navigating the digital world thanks to the partnership with Sequretek.

Dataprise, VP Techno Labs International, TSAARO Solutions, HIKEQA, Bug Hunters, and other significant players are also present in this market.
