Optical fiber tools startup Digital Striker raises $1 M from Foxhog Ventures

Foxhog Ventures has contributed $1 million (approximately Rs 8.5 crore) to Digital Striker’s funding round.

The startup estimates that between Rs 5 and Rs 6 crore of the funds will be used to build a manufacturing plant, hire staff, and open offices in significant metropolitan areas. While local manufacturing is scaled up, the remaining funds will be utilized to maintain import activities.

Digital Striker, a company founded by Priyanka in 2021, is a supplier of optical fiber tools and equipment, including splicing machines, fiber strippers, cleavers, power meters, and visual fault locators. At the moment, the company imports these tools and distributes them throughout India via a network of resellers.

In the first phase, Digital Striker intends to start local production of five to seven products before progressively growing its line.

According to the startup, it has established a network of more than 450 end users and resellers throughout India. As a bootstrapped business, it reported a turnover of Rs 8.85 crore over the previous 40 months.

Over the coming years, the brand intends to increase its nationwide distribution and scale its manufacturing operations.
