The USA-based private equity firm A & MA Capital USA led a $5 million fundraising round for the marathi OTT platform Planet Marathi OTT.
To further bolster its technological prowess, the platform has partnered with media-tech company Dcafe.
The investment will be used by Planet Marathi OTT, which offers a global exclusive platform for Marathi industry talent and stories, to fortify its technological infrastructure and content library.
Planet Marathi OTT, which was founded by Akshay Bardapurkar, offers content in a variety of genres, including comedy, romance, politics, family drama, thriller, crime, and satire. It also claims to have the largest and most prestigious library of Marathi content on OTT platforms.
Planet Marathi OTT is well-known for content like Goshta Eka Paithanichi and Raanbaazaar, and it hosts titles in a variety of genres, including romance, comedy, family drama, politics, crime, thriller, and satire.
