Patamar Capital’s Beacon Fund launches USD 50 million fund for startups

Singapore: Singapore-headquartered Patamar Capital’s Beacon Fund has announced the launch of a new fund with an initial target of US$50 million, which aims to invest in female entrepreneurs based in Southeast Asia’s emerging markets, such as Vietnam.

The firm, founded recently by Shuyin Tang and Lee Fitzgerald (both Partners at Patamar Capital) has already raised approximately 25 percent of the target

The investment sizes range from US$500,000 to US$2 million with the potential to go smaller if the businesses contribute to COVID-19 recovery efforts.
