Pickleball chain GoRally raised $750K Pre-seed funding

In its pre-Seed round, which was led by Sujeet Kumar, the pickleball chain GoRally raised Rs 6.6 crore ($750,000). Among the major investors who participated were Mohit Kumar & Vatsal Singhal, Viren Singhvi, Kartik Kapoor, Abhishek Goyal, Deepak Singh, Arjun Vaidya, Bharat Founders Fund, an IITD syndicate, and a number of US investors.

By April 2025, the money raised will be utilized to expand to eight centers, forty pickleball courts, and two padel courts. The 40,000-square-foot indoor pickle-padel arena GoRally Whitefield is one of the upcoming centers.

GoRally was established last year by Sam Sancheti and Abhinav Shankar. It has four locations throughout Bengaluru, 15 courts, including its flagship 15,000 square foot indoor facility close to Indiranagar, and 4,000 members on WhatsApp.

In order to simplify the community experience, it will also introduce its tech platform this month, which will include its well-liked “Open-play” game format. The company plans to keep growing its coaching services (it employs two of Karnataka’s best players as full-time coaches) and equipment retail business (it currently distributes some brands like Joola), becoming a full-stack player and capitalizing on the boom in recreational sports, which is led by pickleball and padel.

Using strategic alliances, GoRally intends to grow beyond Bengaluru later this year to other important cities like Delhi and Chennai.
