Plant-based home care brand Koparo raised Rs 6 Cr from 4P Capital, Shark Tank India
In addition to the Rs 70 lakh it received from Shark Tank India, the plant-based home care brand Koparo has raised Rs 5.2 crore from 4P Capital Partners. Co-founders of boAt and Sugar, Vineeta Singh, and Aman Gupta, have joined the company as investors.
The brand, which has raised capital at a valuation of Rs 70 crore, intends to use it for distribution and brand development.
Simran Khara founded the company, which sells cleaning supplies for the home, including fabric conditioners, dishwashing liquid, handwashing solutions, floor cleaners, fresheners, and fragrances. The company also plans to introduce additional products to meet the demands of contemporary Indian households for cleaning.
Its cleaning products are made naturally and are safe for children and pets, which makes them appealing to an increasing number of ethically conscious Indian consumers.
After closing at Rs 5 crore last fiscal year, Koparo plans to earn Rs 12 crore this fiscal year and Rs 50 cr over the next two years.
Previous to this, Saama Capital led Koparo to raise Rs 5.7 crore in a pre-seed round in November 2021 and Rs 12 crore in a pre-series A round in February 2023. In these rounds, the brand also received backing from Titan Capital, Fluid Ventures, DSG Consumer Partners, and MVP.
