Polo Labs’ pathology diagnostic division acquired by Thyrocare

Polo Labs’ pathology diagnostic division has been purchased by Thyrocare, a provider of diagnostic and preventive healthcare services. Increasing Thyrocare’s presence in Northern India is the goal of this calculated acquisition.

API Holdings paid $613 million to acquire Thyrocare on June 25, 2021. Up to this point, it has raised $63.6 million.

North Indian pathology lab Polo Labs operates 14 labs throughout the cities of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu & Kashmir. It offers accessible, reasonably priced diagnostic services. To satisfy the high standards and expectations of its clientele, the laboratory makes use of cutting-edge, effective machinery.

Thyrocare claims that the acquisition will be consistent with its overarching business plan in the healthcare industry, which centers on expanding its presence throughout India and improving diagnostic capabilities.

Thyrocare is a fully automated diagnostic laboratory founded by Arokiaswamy Velumani. Its goal is to supply hospitals and laboratories in India and other nations with high-quality reports at reasonable prices. The company, which is based in Mumbai, says it is present in over 2,000 cities both nationally and worldwide.
