Proptech startup Flent raised Rs 6.5 Cr Pre-seed funding

The US-based 2 AM Ventures, Pareto Holdings, and a number of angel investors, including Sanchan S. Saxena (former general manager of Airbnb), Aneesh Reddy (founder of Capillary Technologies), Arjun Vaidya (founder of Dr. Vaidya’s), and Abhilash N. (co-founder of Ivy Homes), led the proptech startup Flent in raising Rs. 6.5 crore during its pre-seed round.

With the goal of making renting 10X simpler and faster for India’s modern working professionals, the proceeds will be utilized to grow the company’s core team and further develop its full stack renting platform.

The startup, which was founded by Shail Daswani, Mayank Lalwani, and Rishabh Agnihotri, states that its main product, Flent Reserve, has seen strong sales. Customers can move into a fully furnished, designer turnkey home with zero brokerage, a minimal deposit, and flexible stays ranging from 3 to 11 months within 15 days of signing up and sharing their preferences.

Flent began operations in October 2023 and has since opened 120 rooms in Bengaluru, ranging in size from 1 BHK to 3 BHK, all of which were fully rented out in less than ten days. The business has routinely attained 100% occupancy and already has a waitlist of more than 500 individuals.

Flent handles every step for homeowners, from buying a property to furnishing and converting houses into ready-to-rent properties.
