Qdigi Services acquired by after-sale service provider Onsitego
In a deal estimated to be worth Rs 80 crore, Onsitego, an after-sale service provider for consumer electronics, purchased Qdigi Services, a division of Quess Corp.
Onesitego claims that the acquisition will increase its market potential and enhance its business. In the next two to three months, the deal is anticipated to close, with Quess Corp holding a minority stake.
The entire Qdigi team and business will be transferred to Onsitego as part of the deal. Furthermore, Quess plans to purchase a minority interest in Onsitego.
Qdigi offers maintenance, repair, and installation services to top OEMs, including Xiaomi, Samsung, Apple, One Plus, and Amazon. The company employs over 1,400 people and runs 200 franchised service centers in addition to 100 company-owned locations.
Most major retailers, including Vijay Sales, Croma, Bajaj Electronics, Girias, Big C, Lot, Great Eastern, Phonewale, Amazon, and many more, have developed relationships with Onsitego since its founding. Over 1.5 crore devices have been covered by Onsitego, which has a retailer network comprising over 10,000 stores.
Onesitego, supported by Accel and Zodius, is in direct competition with Syska Gadget Secure, Servify, OneAssist, and ZurePro.
