Repello raised $1.2 M Seed funding from Venture Highway and others

Repello, a cybersecurity startup powered by artificial intelligence, has raised $1.2 million in a seed round led by Venture Highway, Pi Ventures, and Entrepreneur First. Notable angel investors like Satya Vas, Vivek Raghavan, CEO of Sarvam AI, and Charles Songhurst, a board member of Meta, also participated.
The money raised will be utilized to expand worldwide outreach, improve product capabilities, and further research in offensive testing simulations.
Repello was founded in 2024 by Aryaman Behera and Naman Mishra with the goal of protecting generative AI systems from constantly changing attack methods.
The startup runs its commercial and customer-facing divisions from San Francisco, but its development and innovation teams are headquartered in Bengaluru.
ARTEMIS (Automated Red Teaming Engine for Mapping, Identification, and Scanning), Repello’s flagship product, uses extensive simulated attack scenarios across text, visual, and audio layers to find weaknesses in GenAI systems.
In addition to ARTEMIS, the startup provides Repello Guard, a live security framework that flags threats like prompt injections, inappropriate content, and sensitive data leaks while monitoring AI models during deployment.
Because AI is being adopted so quickly in North America, the company’s most active market is there, but it is also gaining traction in places like the Middle East, highlighting its growing global presence.
