Restaurant operations platform EazyDiner raised Rs 40 Cr from The Sparkle Fund
DMI Alternative Investment Fund – The Sparkle Fund has invested Rs 40 crore in EazyDiner, a platform for restaurant table reservations, food discovery, and payments.
EazyDiner was started and is run by Kapil Chopra. It helps users find great restaurants and bars, make reservations in just 10 seconds, and pay their bills on the EazyDiner app using PayEazy.
Customers can instantly save close to 40% to 50% on every meal by using EazyDiner, which can be accessed and used at over 12,000 restaurants in India and Dubai and has partnered with 15 top banks, including Axis, ICICI, and Kotak Mahindra Bank.
EazyDiner has more than 3 million users and, by 2022, will have increased both the number of diners it seats in restaurants and the number of restaurant bill payments made through the app.
A co-branded dining credit card with numerous benefits for the cardholder was introduced by EazyDiner and IndusInd Bank last year. The card’s features include a free EazyDiner Prime membership that ensures savings of at least 25% and as much as 50% at more than 2,000 restaurants, a further 25% discount of up to Rs 1,000 every time a customer pays via PayEazy, and the ability to instantly redeem reward points.
