Revenue management and distribution platform ZUZU Hospitality secures $5.9 M in Series B-Extension round

The revenue management and distribution platform for independent hotels, ZUZU Hospitality, based in Singapore, revealed on Thursday that it has raised $5.9 million in a Series B-Extension round.

In a statement, the company said that the funding comes from new investor Latin Leap, current investors Velocity Ventures and Vulpes Ventures, and Wavemaker Growth, the growth fund of its longtime backer Wavemaker Partners.

The funding expedites ZUZU’s goal of using technology and experience to level the playing field between independent hotels and international chains.

In order to bring thousands more properties into the travel economy driven by artificial intelligence (AI), the company will scale its go-to-market initiatives, improve its data capabilities, and expedite product development with this new funding.

“We’re witnessing the most significant transformation in hospitality since the internet. AI is reshaping how demand is predicted and revenue is optimized,

“Our mission has always been to empower independent hoteliers—the heart of this industry — who lack the resources of large chains,” said Vikram Malhi, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of ZUZU Hospitality.

He asserts that the firm’s distinct data advantage forms the cornerstone of this mission.

According to him, the company has compiled a proprietary dataset from more than 3,000 hotels in a market niche that hasn’t had strong benchmarking in the past.

“This data is the fuel for RevMate, our AI revenue management platform, allowing us to fine-tune algorithms specifically for the nuances of the Asia Pacific (APAC) hospitality industry,

“With our investors’ support, we’re excited to bring RevMate to market and empower thousands of hotels to thrive in this new era of travel,” he added.

ZUZU has systematically constructed the infrastructure to support the digital transformation of the hospitality industry since its founding. ZUZU has taken another step in that direction with this funding.

“This isn’t just about keeping pace with industry change。 It’s about enabling independent hotels to lead it. We’re not just giving them the same AI sophistication as a global chain; we’re giving them something better: intelligence that is fine-tuned for their specific reality,

“When a boutique property in Bangkok can use context-aware AI to be nimbler and outmanoeuvre a larger competitor, that’s when hospitality gets truly exciting,” Malhi emphasized.

With a distinct data moat, ZUZU, which currently powers more than 3,000 hotels in India and Southeast Asia, is bridging the gap for independent hotels.

Advanced pricing and distribution strategies are made automated and intelligent by its proprietary dataset RevMate AI platform, an unmatched collection of booking trends, pricing choices, and market performance from over 3,000 independent properties. This enables non-chain hotels to be strategic and agile.
