Rs 250 Cr Arigato Capital fund launched by IVY Growth
With a target corpus of Rs 250 crore, Arigato Capital is a SEBI-registered Category I AIF Venture Capital (VC) fund, according to micro venture capital firm IVY Growth Associates.
According to the fund’s press release, this sector-agnostic fund will invest in startups in a range of industries, including consumer brands, fintech, agritech, cleantech, generative AI, and software-as-a-service (SaaS) firms.
Arigato Capital intends to close all commitments within the next 15 to 18 months after starting its capital-raising efforts in June 2024. With an average ticket size of $500,000., the Venture Capital (VC) fund aims to close at first close at Rs 100 crore. It will concentrate on startups that have progressed past the seed stage or are in the pre-series A stages.
IVY Growth Associates, which was founded by Prateek Toshniwal, Sharad Todi, Mehul Shah, and Rachit Poddar, says it has invested in more than 100 growth-stage companies. The company has used over Rs 80 crore from syndicated funds within its network and has deployed Rs 20 crore from its fund. Prominent brands like Rupeek, BluSmart, and Zappfresh are part of IVY’s portfolio.
Apart from introducing Arigato Capital, IVY Growth Associates is organising its third startup summit, 21 BY 72, in Surat on June 15 and 16. More than 20,000 people are anticipated at the summit, including more than 200 venture capitalists, more than 500 investors, and more than 200 startup founders.
