Rs 250 Cr Scholarship Fund for JEE/NEET aspirants launched by PhysicsWallah
The third iteration of the NSAT (National Scholarship Common Admission Test) 2024 will see the establishment of a Rs 250 crore scholarship fund by the Edtech company PhysicsWallah (PW). This program strives to assist students, regardless of their financial status, in order to help them achieve success in the NEET-UG and IIT-JEE exams by offering high-quality instruction and professional guidance.
The NSAT will take place in two formats: online from October 1 to October 15, 2024, and offline at a few designated centers on October 6 and October 13, 2024. Students from Class VI to XII, including those in PCM and PCB groups, are invited to register for the NSAT 2024 program.
PW claims that the top 1,000 students who pass these tests will be awarded a 100% scholarship that covers living expenses. The top 500 economically disadvantaged pupils will receive extra consideration among these.
Using online, offline, and hybrid platforms, PW, which was co-founded in 2020 by Alakh Pandey and Prateek Maheshwari, provides education at scale throughout India. Schools, test preparation in over forty-three categories, a skilling vertical, higher education, and study abroad (AcadFly) are just a few of the educational segments it offers.
PW has secured funding totaling $100 million from various investors, including GSV Ventures and Westbridge.
