Rs 450 Cr worth Fund II launched by VC firm Pentathlon Ventures
Pentathlon Ventures, a venture capital firm that specializes in early-stage B2B SaaS investments, has announced the opening of Fund II, its second fund, with a target corpus of Rs 450 crore.
The Pune-based venture capital firm is looking to deploy the corpus across 25 early-stage startups with a focus on enterprise digital transformation, e-commerce enablement, fintech, vertical SaaS, applied AI, sustainable tech, and healthtech. The firm primarily invests in business-to-business (B2B) software-as-a-service (SaaS) companies.
According to Pentathlon Ventures, it is raising money from a variety of domestic and international limited partners, including corporate giants, institutions, and top businessmen.
Pentathlon Ventures was established in 2020 and raised $10 million for its first fund, which it then allocated to 23 startups. Its portfolio companies include SellerGeni, ShopSe, Riskovry, Fable Fintech, SaleAssist, Rezolve, Doqfy, and QuickReply.
Additionally, it runs the GTMDialogues program, which aims to create a network of SaaS founders and go-to-market experts to offer mentoring on business-related topics like marketing tactics, user acquisition, and distribution systems.
