SaaS platform GreenStitch raised $1.2 M Seed funding

The fashion and textile industry’s sustainability-focused software as a service platform, GreenStitch, has raised $1.2 million in its seed round, which was led by Equirus InnovateX Fund and included Ivycap Ventures, Warmup Ventures, and Zeca Ventures.

Amit Kumar (founder of Nobroker), Senthil Sankar (founder of Ecoline), Pankaj Vermani (founder of Clovia), Sumit Jain (CTO, Zalora), and Anshuman Bapna (founder of Terra.do) were among the entrepreneurs and climate and fashion experts who participated in the round.

The money raised will be utilized to improve the product and team as well as to create a database for textiles and fashion.

GreenStitch, which was founded by Narendra Makwana and Arpit Samdani, integrates directly with enterprise ERP and PLM systems, combining data from various supply chain tiers, detecting data gaps, and filling them in with artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning. This identifies ESG risks in the supply chain and guarantees accurate Scope 3 GHG calculations, even with incomplete datasets.

GreenStitch provides predictive modelling and decarbonization tools in addition to data-driven emissions tracking. By using these tools, businesses can assess the effects of supplier and design decisions on carbon emissions, assisting them in implementing proactive sustainability strategies prior to the start of production.
