SaaS startup ACadru raised Pre-series A funding from AIG Direct, others

Pre-Series A funding led by AIG Direct LLC and a group of other investors has brought $0.5 million to SaaS startup Acadru.

According to a press release from Acadru, the new funding will be used for content development and market expansion.

Abhishek Singhal and Kamini Vidisha co-founded Acadru, an online learning platform that supports students in college and high school in exploring their interests and skill development. With project-based activities, mini-modules, and AI-powered profile generation, the platform provides a multidisciplinary approach. With this startup, students will be able to find their passions, gain useful skills, and present their achievements.

Contextual explorations enable learners to advance their learning through appropriate contexts to conceptual levels, claims the Gurugram-based company. Along with resources to support research, analysis, and evaluation skills for learning explorations, the platform offers background information, projects, ideas for content flow, and source material links for individual reports and team projects.

With content stitched across 500 topics and new material added every week, Acadru claims to have a repository containing over 5,000 projects. It can be applied to various use cases and tailored to a school’s requirements.
