Salesforce reaffirmed its commitment to innovation and regional economic growth today by announcing plans to invest $500 million in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Additionally, the investment intends to support local businesses by expanding Salesforce’s local partner ecosystem and promoting workforce development through AI skilling.
Following the company’s Davos commitment to increase its footprint in Saudi Arabia by establishing new regional headquarters in Riyadh, the announcement was made today at LEAP 2025. Businesses in the area are increasingly utilizing Salesforce’s digital labor platform, Agentforce, which highlights the growing need for AI-driven solutions and reaffirms Salesforce’s dedication to this technology in the Kingdom.
Salesforce will introduce its next-generation platform architecture, Hyperforce, to Saudi Arabia as part of this expansion. Salesforce’s global customer base can run workloads locally through a distributed public cloud infrastructure thanks to Hyperforce in K.S.A., which is provided through a strategic partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS). By adhering to local laws, this expansion ensures trust while enabling local companies and talent to take advantage of Salesforce and its most cutting-edge products.
“We are entering a new era where autonomous AI agents working with humans are transforming workforces and businesses across the globe,” said Marc Benioff, Chair and CEO, Salesforce. “With Agentforce, Hyperforce, and our global partner ecosystem, we are empowering Saudi organisations to deliver unprecedented levels of productivity, growth, and customer success.”
Agentforce, a comprehensive AI solution that adds autonomous AI agents to teams while they work, is assisting companies globally in scaling their agentic AI operations. Through the provision of specialized knowledge and customized solutions, ecosystem partnerships with Capgemini, Deloitte, Globant, IBM, and PwC will further expand the capabilities of this technology in Saudi Arabia, enabling businesses to unleash new growth potential.
In order to promote inclusivity, Salesforce is also still dedicated to upskilling 30,000 Saudi nationals in AI, with a particular emphasis on boosting the number of women in the workforce. The company is bringing AI-focused learning and workforce development opportunities to female students by collaborating with Princess Nourah University (PNU), the largest women’s university globally, located in Riyadh, as part of this commitment.
The partnership will support the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 for inclusive growth by utilizing Trailhead to give the next generation of women leaders in K.S.A. the skills they need to succeed in the digital economy.
“We are thrilled with our cooperation with Salesforce. This investment not only underscores their confidence in our vision and capabilities but also paves the way for groundbreaking advancements in education,” said Dr. Ala Alluhaidan, Dean of Development and Quality Deanship at Princess Nourah Bint Abdulrahman University. “Together, we are committed to fostering innovation, empowering our students, and making a lasting impact on society.”
With an increased emphasis on developing Arabic language support, Salesforce is also extending its dedication to AI-driven transformation and workforce development throughout the Kingdom.
