Second cohort of WTFund announced by Nikhil Kamath

With 22 founders, WTFund, an initiative for entrepreneurs under 25, has revealed its second cohort under the direction of investor and entrepreneur Nikhil Kamath.
To help startups scale their impact, WTFund offers grant funding of up to Rs 20 lakh in addition to strategic partnerships and mentorship. By making opportunities more accessible to all, WTFund has established itself as a launching pad for new entrepreneurs and promoted a culture of creativity, adaptability, and education. It attempts to close important gaps in the startup ecosystem of India while giving young business owners the tools they need to establish and expand.
Over 50 cities submitted applications to the WTFund, including those from remote locations and all tiers. The second cohort drives innovation at scale with solutions that span tech/SaaS, D2C, edtech, fintech, healthtech, agritech, and cleantech.
All tiers of the applications demonstrated a strong mobile-first mentality. While Tier 2 and Tier 3 founders are creating vernacular-first B2C innovations suited for India’s varied markets, Tier 1 startups are leading the way in AI/ML-driven B2B solutions. These businesspeople are developing globally scalable solutions while tackling regional issues.
Nine startups are featured in the second cohort, all of which offer creative solutions with the potential to make a big difference. These consist of Bytes, Modus AI, Drnk, Neoperk, Armatrix, Nasadya, InnerGize, and Ai.gnosis.
By offering resources, mentorship, and early-stage grants, WTFund aims to empower young entrepreneurs under 25. Under the direction of Nikhil Kamath, it supports entrepreneurs who are tackling important real-world issues in fields like AI, space technology, healthtech, and energy transition, allowing them to grow without facing immediate dilution pressures. The fund wants to foster a new generation of fearless, daring businesspeople who will shape India’s future while democratizing access to capital.
