Senior care provider Oretha raised $105,759 via equity crowdfunding
A senior care provider in Malaysia, Oretha Senior Care, has announced the successful conclusion of its equity crowdfunding campaign. With MyCIF’s co-investment, the campaign raised MYR 499,200 ($105,759).
In a statement released on Wednesday, Oretha Senior Care stated that this accomplishment demonstrates the growing support for the company’s goal of revolutionizing senior care services in Malaysia.
For the first time, the public was able to invest in Oretha Senior Care through this crowdfunding round.
As per the statement, the money collected will be used to open their first daycare center for the elderly in Petaling Jaya, extend their elderly concierge services, and launch senior assisted travel services.
In order to guarantee that more seniors profit from a more comprehensive approach to aging, the objective is to grow to five centers by 2026 and achieve nationwide scalability by 2028.
It is stated that there is an increasing demand for trustworthy senior care services due to Malaysia’s aging population, which is expected to reach 15.3 percent (5.8 million people) by 2030.
In order to meet this challenge, Oretha Senior Care is developing into a one-stop shop that offers a wide range of services, such as travel, long-term care, daycare, concierge, and senior home care.
The money will go toward growing the team of caregivers, improving technology to provide better services, launching new service offerings, and forging stronger ties with healthcare providers.
Notably, the company aspires to improve and broaden its senior care offerings throughout Malaysia, guaranteeing that each senior gets individualised attention and support.
“The funds will help us expand our services, including operational aspects, transportation, and team training,
“This investment enhances our ability to provide top-quality care and support to the elderly,” said Oretha Herrera, Chief Executive Officer of Oretha Senior Care.
“Leet Capital has guided us throughout this journey, inviting the community to own a piece of Oretha Senior Care,
“We’re not just building a service; we’re growing a community-driven ecosystem where every voice, family, and senior shares in our success,” she added.
Oretha Herrera founded Oretha Senior Care, a senior care provider in Malaysia.
Personalized home care, assisted living, and cutting-edge medical care are just a few of the many services the company provides.
