Series B funding raised by supply chain firm 3SC led by GEF Capital

In the Series B financing sponsored by the GEF Capital Partners’ Southern Asia Fund (GCF), 3SC, a firm located in Gurugram, has raised $15 million.

In 2018, the Global Environment Fund, located in the US, expanded GEF Capital Partners.

3SC aims to spend the cash on expanding its software as a service (SaaS) and its analytics business in Europe and Southeast Asia.

“With strong industry tailwinds towards digitization and our capitalized balance sheet, we are poised to grow 2-3x in the next couple of years. We will continue to invest in building talent and technology to reinforce this exponential growth,” said Lalit Das, 3SC CEO.

The firm was established in 2012 by Lalit Das, and Sarita Das provides two products, Demand Curve and 4PL Visilog. 4PL simplifies stakeholder communication as the Demand Curve contributes to the inventory prediction.

Other products include the Demand Management collaborative portal, DispatchX for distribution planning, and Prism for model scenarios. The company also collaborates with companies to fulfill the order end to end and to distribute the first and final mile.

P&G, Flipkart, Philips, and PepsiCo are among the company’s clients.

In earlier this month, SoftBank supported the funding of 100 million US dollars from an affiliate of the US-based logistics giant FedEx Corp. Another agreement took place in the logistics business.
