Singaporean DePIN startup Copute received ICP community grant

Singaporean DePIN protocol Copute has secured a community grant from DFINITY Foundation, a Swiss non-profit organization that has a focus on the research and development (R&D) of blockchain technology.
ICP said in a statement last Friday that the grant was acquired through the Internet Computer Protocol (ICP) Hub of Singapore.
Copute plans to use the grant to integrate the ICP blockchain in order to improve its decentralized computing engine and more effectively propel advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) and gaming, the statement said.
As the startup concentrates on creating its layer 2 protocol prior to token launch, this action also seeks to strengthen Copute’s roadmap development efforts.
Those at the forefront of growing the ICP community can receive assistance through DFINITY’s Community Grant Program.
It is committed to providing exceptional groups and individuals with inspiring concepts and practical strategies so they can truly make an impact.
Through this grant provision, the ICP Singaporean hub has chosen to support Compute, one of Singapore’s most ambitious and creative projects.
Chief Executive Officer and Copute Ecosystem Evangelist Lawrence Lin highlighted the enormous opportunities made possible by the grant and the common vision between ICP and the DePIn project.
He asserts that the internet computer provides safe, network-resident code and data for creating web applications without the need for sophisticated or modern information technology (IT).
“Likewise, Copute’s decentralized model of Mine-Share-as-a-Service empowers individuals to drive gaming and AI innovations without cloud computing and big data conglomerates,”
“We are honoured to receive the ICP community grant and are committed to developing a future of scalable, community-driven infrastructures powered by the community itself,” he added.
According to Aaron Ting, co-founder of ICP Hub Singapore, democratizing access to computing power will be essential to enabling previously unheard-of levels of innovation in gaming and artificial intelligence, particularly in the global race to develop crypto and AI over the next four years.
He stated that Copute will benefit greatly from ICP’s special technological features, and the foundation anticipates funding many more creative regional initiatives.
The Web3 ecosystem Copute is devoted to decentralized computing for gaming and artificial intelligence.
The goal of the Web3 ecosystem known as ICP is to make the internet a decentralized, public utility.
