Singapore’s Truely obtained strategic funding from Goodwater Capital, Disrupt

Truely, a travel technology company based in Singapore that created SwitchlessTM eSIM global connectivity, announced that it has raised additional capital from strategic investors Goodwater Capital, DG Daiwa Ventures, and Disrupt.com, based in the United States, Japan, and the United Arab Emirates.
1982 Ventures, Beenext, and Kopital Ventures are among the previous backers and ongoing supporters, according to a statement from Truely.
Considering that Goodwater Capital is the largest consumer technology-focused venture capital firm in the world, its involvement in this round is particularly noteworthy.
With investments in businesses like Toss, Kakao, and Coupang, the firm offers extensive experience in growing consumer internet businesses.
Its knowledge of consumers and the internet will help Truely expand into Korea and high-frequency business travel lanes.
Disrupt, a new investor with a unique practical operational background, is based in the United Arab Emirates.
To support the upcoming wave of technology and artificial intelligence (AI)-first initiatives worldwide, Disrupt.com has committed $100 million.
The statement claimed that Truely stands to gain from Disrupt.com’s extensive operational support and access to a global network of business titans.
“It’s incredible to have investors who share that vision alongside our team. We have a lot planned and we’re going to keep executing,” said Simon Landsheer, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Truely.
Since formally exiting beta in 2025, Truely has helped travelers who are annoyed by expensive roaming fees and eSIM resellers.
Designed for frequent travelers who want seamless, roaming-free connectivity, the company offers an unlimited data plan.
Through strategic business-to-business-to-consumer (B2B2C) alliances with airlines, fintech super-apps, and online travel agencies (OTAs), the company is simultaneously expanding its global footprint and using these high-intent channels to boost user acquisition.
Deeper integration and more use cases across partner platforms are made possible by an evolving developer toolkit in addition to direct-to-user app experiences, which are driving this growth.
“What sets Truely apart in the eSIM landscape is their fundamental technology,
“Unlike many other providers who simply resell existing services with thin margins and unsustainable cash burn, Truely has built a proprietary Switchless™ platform,” said Herston Powers, Founding Managing Partner at 1982 Ventures.
