Sourav Ganguly partnered with Classplus, a Noida-based edtech startup
After sending a cryptic tweet, BCCI President Sourav Ganguly on Thursday announced a partnership with Noida-based edtech firm Classplus to promote thousands of educators and content producers, putting an end to all conjecture.
After 30 years in Indian cricket, Ganguly resorted to social media to promote this endeavour. “Having the proper coach is the first step towards attaining your ambitions,” Ganguly says in the 30-second ad.
Classplus claims to have digitised over one lakh instructors and content creators in over 3,000 cities, servicing 30 million students, and to have aided them in establishing an online presence and selling their online courses.
“With Dada (Ganguly) himself by their side, we hope to help these edupreneurs further grow their reach and take their business to newer heights,” said Mukul Rustagi, CEO and Co-Founder, Classplus.
The company just raised $70 million in a Series D financing sponsored by Alpha Wave Global and Tiger Global, valuing it at close to $600 million.
