Stack Identity received $4 M in Seed funding

WestWave Capital and Benhamou Global Ventures, both based in the US, co-led Stack Identity’s $4 million seed funding round. Stack Identity is an automation identity and access management (IAM) governance company.

According to a press release from Stack Identity, the funds will be used to scale product development, strengthen go-to-market plans, and increase customer reach among SMBs, mid-market companies, and enterprises.

Based in Silicon Valley, the cloud IAM operations of Stack Identity, which has an R&D facility in India, are transformed to continuously identify, eliminate, and manage unauthorized, unobserved, and invisible shadow access. Cloud security teams can quickly prioritize and automate remediation by using Stack Identity’s Breach Prediction Index (BPI), a patented algorithm that uses deep data and application context to reveal the 2% of toxic access combinations that affect 90% of data assets.

Leading companies in India and North America patronize the Ambrish Deshpande-led business.

According to Stack Identity, its AWS cloud ecosystem combines manually and automatically managed infrastructure with DevOps automation to give security and engineering operations teams continuous visibility into the risks associated with data exposure. It also has the ability to automate the enforcement of the least privileged access.
