Stanly raised $8 M Pre-Series A funding from Adrian Cheng’s C Capital

Pre-Series A funding of $8 million has been successfully raised by Stanly, the cutting-edge platform created just for fans to connect, engage, and celebrate their favorite fandoms.

According to a statement from Stanly, Adrian Cheng’s C Capital led the round, with participation from Goodwater, Palm Drive Capital, AppWorks, and other investors.

As per the statement, the funds will be utilized for staff expansion in multiple divisions such as engineering, operations, creator support, marketing, and sales.

In order to provide a more seamless and interesting experience for both fans and artists, the company will also keep improving the features of its platform.

Stanly stated that the ethe platform is ready for major growth in the upcoming months, with more than 300 additional fandoms on the waitlist.

Along with giving artists better chances to monetize their networks, exciting new features are also being developed with the goal of giving fans even more interactive and captivating ways to connect with their favourite artists.

“We created Stanly because we felt that there was no safe space online for fans to more closely connect and share with one another about their favorite artists and creators,” said Jens Grede, Co-Founder of Popular Culture.

“The latest funding round enables Stanly to develop important product features as well as help establish our platform as a global home of fandom,” she added.

Stanly is a platform that connects fans with their favorite fandoms. It was founded in 2023 by Rebecca Leung, Liberty City Venture, and Popular Culture, a start-up incubator.

The company provides a special setting where followers can interact, celebrate, and share their passions.

Users can join or start fan-generated artist fan clubs on the platform, and the app facilitates communication and commerce between fans and artists.

Users can find exclusive content, play games, communicate, win prizes, shop, and keep up with news and events in these fandoms.

Stanly has drawn more than 200,000 members since its beta launch in February.

50 well-known fandoms are currently supported by the platform, including those for Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, Billie Eilish, J Balvin, BTS, Post Malone, and other celebrities.
