Superfone raised $1.9 M Pre-series A funding
In its pre-Series A funding round, Superfone, a business phone and CRM app for small and medium-sized businesses, has raised $1.9 million. With a $950,000 investment, YourNest Venture Capital led the round. Ankur Capital, Finsight Seed Fund, and a group of angel investors also participated.
The investment is a part of YourNest and SanchiConnect’s accelerator program, the YourNest-SanchiConnect Velocity Program 2024, which supports high-growth startups.
In July 2021, the Bengaluru-based business raised $1.84 million from Ankur Capital and other investors.
According to a press release from Superfone, the money will be used to expand its customer acquisition efforts, bolster its engineering and product teams with important senior hires, and obtain national telecom licenses in order to increase its impact and reach.
Superfone, which was co-founded in 2021 by Pradeep Dodle and Nikhil Goenka, intends to transform the business phone number market by substituting a fully app-based solution that incorporates cutting-edge tools like CRM, lead management, WhatsApp marketing, and AI-powered agents for conventional SIM cards. By tackling the crucial communication and operational issues that SMBs encounter, this strategy enables over 10 million small businesses in India to boost customer engagement, expedite operations, and accelerate growth.
Superfone claims that it uses a software-first strategy to give SMBs a robust, user-friendly telecom platform that combines marketing, CRM, and communication tools to promote efficiency and growth. With a focus on high-growth markets in Latin America and Southeast Asia (SEA), the company intends to grow internationally in the future.
According to Superfone, the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) recently awarded it a Unified Licence (VNO) with Access Service for the Karnataka telecom circle and a Unified Licence (Audio Conferencing/Audiotex/Voice Mail Service) for Pan-India.
