In its Series A round, led by SIDBI Venture Capital, the superfood brand Nourish You has raised Rs 16 crore, or approximately $1.84 million.
Y Janardhana Rao, Rohit Chennamaneni, and Nikhil Kamath were among the individual investors who contributed $2 million to Nourish You’s seed funding round in 2023. For an undisclosed sum, the business also purchased One Good, a vegan dairy brand, in the same year.
Sowmya Reddy, Krishna Reddy, and Rakesh Kilaru co-founded Nourish You in 2015 to provide Indian customers with superfoods like quinoa and chia seeds. Its website states that it oversees 5,000 acres of chia and quinoa farms in Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, and Rajasthan.
The company exports its range of products, which includes breakfast cereals (muesli and fills), quinoa, chia, millets, edible seeds (flax, pumpkin, sunflower, and watermelon), and Dubai, Mongolia, Singapore, and the Maldives.
Its website and popular e-commerce sites, including Amazon, Flipkart, and BigBasket, offer Nourish You products.
Among its competitors are Jiwa, Slurrp Farms, and True Elements.
