Supply chain platform Showroom B2B raised $6.5 M Pre-series A funding from Jungle Ventures
ICMG Partners, Accion Venture Lab, Saison Capital, and Jungle Ventures contributed to the $6.5 million pre-Series A funding round for Showroom B2B, a supply chain platform for the fashion and apparel industry. Participating in the round were previous backers Strive, Gemba Capital, Titan Capital, Alteria Capital, and Stride Ventures.
Prior to this, in January of this year, it received $1.35 million in seed funding and $180,000 in an angel round in 2021.
According to a press release from Showroom B2B, the funds will be used to scale the business’s physical distribution model and add more experienced stores throughout India’s Tier II and III markets.
Showroom B2B, founded in 2021 by Abhishek Dua and Shubham Gupta, combines the physical and digital markets to provide manufacturers and retailers with a distinctive offering. It covers important clothing fashion subcategories like men’s, women’s, and kids’ clothing.
More than 500 clothing manufacturers and 3,000 retailers have partnered with it.
The $600 million fund will be used for new and follow-up investments in the portfolio companies of Singapore-based Jungle Ventures. The B2B startups in its portfolio include Moglix, CityMall, and NirogStreet.
