Suraasa raised $6 M investment from Reach Capital, ETS

In a fresh round headed by Reach Capital and including participation from ETS Capital, NB Ventures, TSM Ventures, TRTL Ventures, and other strategic investors, Suraasa—a platform for teacher workforce development and global teacher mobility—raises $6 million.

The proceeds will be put toward strengthening Suraasa’s mission to improve teacher quality, give educators skills that are globally recognized, and make it easier for them to integrate into various educational systems across the globe.

Founded by Rishabh Khanna, Suraasa provides competency-based skilling programs that guarantee teachers are globally competitive as well as classroom ready. As the need for qualified educators grows on a global scale, its programs give teachers the tools they need to succeed in classrooms across borders.

Through the integration of upskilling and teacher recruitment solutions, Suraasa guarantees that educators are equipped to tackle global challenges and connected to educational opportunities across the globe.

In December 2022, the Gurugram-based startup had previously raised $1.2 million from Vinners, SucSEED Innovation, Supermorpheus, NB Ventures, and Inflection Point Ventures.
